This is my comman sailfin plec he approx 8yrs old and about 12inchs long he is very peaceful to every one except the plants he likes re arranging the tank on a regular basis

Hi, he looks very nice. I have an 11" one I bought him as a juvenile last May. At what age did yours stop growing? Just wondered as it might give me a clue how big mine might get. I have just moved him to a 65UKgal tank. Mine is peaceful too.

i bought my plec at 2" long it took approx 2 years to grow in the old tank which was 36x24x12 transferred him to a new tank last march 48x18x18 can swear he has grown again!!!!!
