Just hope these comet gold fish don't mess with the new shrimp. The shrimp are only a 1/4" long but i thing thats to big fore these guys to mess with.

nice goldfish, I don't paticularly like the orange gravel but hey, whatever floats your boat. If you're getting the shrimp and tetras I assume you have a heater to put in the tank, atleast I hope you have one.

Thanks. Actually the gravel is a nice shade of red but I'm using a very bad web cam to take these. I have a nice heater in there and probably will be getting a better thermometer as soon as I get the chance. I've just got one of those strip ones on the side of the tank at the moment. I'm not confident it's accurate enough for the fish I'm getting.

just a heads up for you. goldfish are NOT tropical. They are COLDWATER. and do not require a heater, extended periods in warm water can and will kill the goldfish. please rethink of stocking for the fishes sake.

Dont think that really matters as the goldfish are just feeders anyways.

Yes I know that but i looked around and it seems as tough as long as i don't go above 77F they will be ok, and like mark said they are just feeder fish. Although I do like the little black one, wish I could keep him around. I've been keeping the temp at about 70 and they seem happy enough. They look healthy and eat just fine.
