Finally, after weeks of waiting, our tank is up and running.
We have about 20kg of live rock which is starting to look great. We've just added 8 Turbo Snails and 4 Red Leg Hermit Crabs. Next week, we are hoping to add a pair of Black and White Clowns.
I never realised how fascinating a marine tank would be and I'm so glad we've finally got it running! :yahoo:

is that the Rena 400 with a Prism skimmer on the back?

Thats the exact tank I had to start off the hobby and you have set it up almost exactly how I had it also XD

Whats more you are going for the most stylish of Clowns? SNAP

Edit: Just convinced myself it isnt the same tank (skimmer is the same though). now feel stupid :p

The tank looks amazing! :good:

out of sheer curiosity what size is it?

been researching into marine and apart from being gobsmacked by all the beautiful tanks. Absolutely astounded by all the care and patience everyone has taken in getting them established and setting up.

and recc or help for newb?

 My partner really likes the Black and White Clowns and I've got no quibbles, they're beautiful.
The tank is the Rena Panorama 100 and its a Red Sea skimmer on the back.
I can't take any credit for setting it up, my other half took over, so I left him to it. He keeps telling me it's our tank and he wants me to have input but I'm still waiting! Left him to it and marveled at how great it looked... :hey:

He did a great job with that Aquacaping! :good: Im sure you'll get your input, he got the nasty job of aquascaping! :shifty:

Thanks everyone for the great comments.
You're right Mr. Miagi, it did take him ages to get it looking right, so I shouldn't complain.

Vkky - The tank is about 48G, not as big as we would've liked but we were offered the set up quite cheap. I'm afraid I'm still a newbie when it comes to marine so it may be worth asking in the Marine section to get more experienced members opinions and help. ;)

Sure does look nice.

I've heard people have had their prizm skimmer's leak, not sure if it's true.

No problems so far ATM but it's only been running for 6 weeks. Fingers crossed it will all be ok. :good:
