I remember my two looking like that. They're around the size of my hand now. Just wish the buggers learned not to eat their fry every damned time.

im assuming they are too young for sexing, but feel free to have an educated guess?

I am looking out for the 'worm' like markings on the gill plates (on a male, right?). I have also read about the band of colouring is lower on a female Rottie - are there any differences like this between male/female golds?

And on the note of powerheads - has anyone used those 'wave makers' that salties like? i dont really want adjustable waves in my tank, but i just like the small, ball shape to them instead of a bulky powerhead
