heya,

well congrats on ur first betta usually bettas don't go for the flakes, they do perfer the pellets. Freeze dried blodoworms are good, but it hink he'll be happier if you get him those betta pellets and feed him that as a regular meal and use the bloodworms as a treat

i think it depends on the bettas personality. i have one betta that will only eat bloodworms and some flakes. my other betta will eat the pellets flakes, and bloodworms. bettas as picky eaters, so i think that now that he likes the shrimp, he'll only eat the shrimp.

I know about picky eaters too! I have my Moto that eats flakes, frozen bloodworms and brine shrimp, but won't eat pellets . I have Neptune that will eat anything as long as it doesn't eat him first . I have Apollo that will eat anything except for cheap pellets (he's snotty like that ). Then I have Sita (my new baby girl) and she eats everything . They are so spoiled!
