Having originally come on to this forum to find out a suitable cannister filter for my existing 20g/100l, I am now getting ready to pick up my new tank tomorrow  See it here CLICKY

Ebay and specialist forums are a bad, bad thing  The tank is 48 by 24 by 18". I've built a stand for it and am now planning the hood. I love well planted tanks so I need alot of light, but how much? Also how much heating would be required for a 320litre tank?

I expect once I've got everything established I'll be hassling you all for suggestions for fish. My current 100l inhabitants (clown loaches, corydoras and plec) will be placed in the big tank and the small tank will be the home of some dwarf puffers.

I'll try and get some pictures of my work in progress stand/hood in the next week

very nice buy, I'm looking for a 4ft tank aswell at the moment.

I think you will need 2 300W's or a 200W and 300W. Definnately 2 though.

I'm using a 200W one for 25 gallons(115 litres)

I agree   . I've just done the same thing with eBay, I got this one today, and am going to pick it up tomorrow. I've wanted one for ages, and had to pay well for it, but I don't mind.
Great deal on yours though those 304 filters usually go for about that on their own on eBay!!!

HOLY ............... :hyper: :hyper: I had that tank on my favourites list but guessed it was going to go for big bucks. I even went as far as offering £400 :*) which was abit cheeky but you never know. I take it you made a more significant offer than mine :D

Gorgeous tank   What are you planning on having in there?

I'm giving him £600 for it. not too bad considering that its £900 new and I'm getting all the extras with it!!
I'm going to have an oscar, 2 Severums, 3 Juraparis, 5-6 Clown Loach, 2 Lima Shovelnose, and a gibbiceps plec in there!! Can't wait to set it up!! :D :D
