Look at my 120L tank in my signiture.
I was thinking of adding a shoal of small fish that would add lots of colour to the tank.

Any ideas?

I was thinking along the lines of cardinals but any other ideas would be perfect!

Cheers in advance!

Cardinals are great little fish, although can be sensitive in some places so i hear, lemon tetras and harliquins are nice too

Thanks for the ideas.
I have kept cardinals before but they never seemed to last longer then 6 months.

Anyone else got some ideas?
Would like to see what options i have.
What about tiger barbs or would they be to aggesive?

Tiger barbs can be aggressive when kept in groups of below 8, and i wouldn't reccomend them with rainbows

Yea, i thought that might be the case.
I think i might give cardinals a go.
If i get 3 lemons and 4 cardinals would they all shoal together or is that not the case?
Or should i stick to 7-10 cardinals?

not really the case although i don't see why you couldn't have 5/6 of each provided you keep up with maintainence

why not cherry barbs? they add lots of color and are quite hardy

Cardinals would blend in with the neons. A bit bigger and more red but very similar.

I like sepae tetras. Orange with black fins. A big school of them looks sharp in a tank.

Get some Glowlight Tetras or Emperor Tetras or Black Neon Tetras

That a nce idea.. but dont they get to around 2 inches. Its a bit bigger then i was thinking of.
I think i will look into it tho! Cheers
if ur talking about the cherry barbs no maybe a huge one 1.5 is much more common basicly same size neons or cardels just a bit chunkier.
