Picked Up Pseudomugil Furcatus (forktail Rainbow)

just wanted to say i picked up 6 of these nice little rainbows today, sadly one female didn't survive the trip home. She'll be replaced tomorrow when i have time to get back over to big als.

i dont like big als.. one fish got ich from the move and gave it to my favorite fish, now they are dead be sure to make sure no fish are sick in the tanks when u go shopping!

The big als i deal with awesome, all the employee's are on a first name basis with me and the fishroom manager always hooks me up with great deals. The only time i have ever had a problem with any fish bringing disease into my tanks from theres was when i bought some mollies, luckily i caught it in time and saved my fish. I should also add that the tank had no dead fish and no fish showing any symptoms when i bought the fish, but they also ended up with an ich outbreak in the store tank a day or 2 later. This happend to me about 2 years ago, no problems what-so-ever since then.

I got furcatus from Big Al's around the same time They are great. Although I lost a male. I had a bit of a nitrite spike, but also the chasing amongst three males was fierce so that might have been it too. I replaced with a female to make it 4F:2M.
