Photos Of My Trilineatus

Well I've been trying to take photos of my fish and today I was able to get a couple snaps of my Trilineatus and even a nice one of my shrimp next to a plant(crypt?)

Very nice! Thats a very healthly looking C. trilineatus

Didn't I read somewhere you were able to get these to spawn for you?

My Females were happy enough to lay eggs on about 5 separate occasions, only about 8 to 10 each time but they were never fertilised by a male so today I bought another male.

Gorgeous Trilineatus you have there. They are really gorgeous and I'd say the two you have in the latest pic are both female. I'm sure if you have both sexes it will only be a matter of time before you have a spawning.

Good luck trying to get a spawn you can raise. It really is good fun to look after the babies. We will need pics of that as well if you do manage!

After getting pointed out that there's a shrimp in the plant as well I change my opinion on it not being sharp! We don't need a new one hon, it's just fine. The big shrimp on the left just confused me Tis a purdy shrimp as well =D

I love ours - I actually have a picture of 2 of them on our wall
(along with a few of our other fish)
