This image really sucks, but thats a picture of his belly. :(

My poor moe.

Ouch Becca. That doesn't look good :/

I wish I had some info. to help you out. I believe Wuv has been helping you and that's some sound advice.

I am wishing little Moe well :X

Hope he gets better.

That's just terrible :( But it doesn't look like dropsy, but it kinda does -_- . No raised scales, right?

Have you noticed any poo in his tank?
Poor little Moe :(

The scales aren't raised, yet, but I bet they would have if I didn't put medication in.

He has been pooping, but it has been white in color. I've been feeding peas to help with that as much as I can.

Do you want me to take more clear photos? I am about to dig out the camera again, so I should be able to get a few of him, the poor darling.

Okay, this is a front view of the fish.

..And whenI WANTED to get photos, dip#### Eddie wouldn't flare, and moped. I walk away, and what does he do? Flares. Jerk fish! :)

Wait...his poop is white? Sounds like internal parasites, maybe. The problem with these buggers is that sometimes general antiparasitics don't work on the specific parasite...often you need to determine the specific parasite and treat for that.

my betta looks like that after feeding time..its gone by morning tho.
Then you are probably overfeeding...

My husband says the swelling in his gut has gone down, but... I don't know. I've stared at him too much to notice whether it has or not :)

If he dies, well.. ;/ There won't be anything I can do about it... I'm doing all I can.

I thought the same thing, that you may have caught it in time. But I agree with cation, white poo sounds like an internal parasites or a terrible bacterial infection. It's really hard to say :/ I do find it interesting when one fish, out of several who are on the same diet/water change routine, gets sick and the others don't

Keep up the good work  He may surprise you and completely recover (I hope so!)

Wuv: And considering they are all Tank Mates, yes, it is interesting! Pearl and Steel shared the same water, etc with him, and didn't get sick.

I think Moe is older than them, though.. He was a lot more calm and relaxed for the most part, while the other two are far more active.

The other two have no signs of being sick whatsoever. Its quite interesting.

maybe you could try some medicated food. i use spectra anti-parasite and jungle pepso food. what kind of medicine did you put in?

Jungles Parasite Guard and Jungles Fungus Eliminator. The fungus stuff is anti-bacterial as well... Jungles is the only brand I recognize that is sold near me, and my mother and I had a lot of success with the line when we had outbreaks in our fish room (and jungles plays nice with each other.)

I'll check for medicated foods, doubt these places will have it, but its definitely worth a try!
