Phos-Zorb

Hi. I cannot get rid of my brown algae problem & I was thinking of trying Phos-Zorb - has anyone tried it? If so, any success? Thanks.

An oto did the job for me.

I have been thinking of that, but I have salt in my tank & have read that is not good for catfish.

Darn, I was going to suggest a couple of otos, as well. They cleaned up my tank beautifully!

Don't know anything about the phos-zorb, though.

Hopefully, someone will know what to do.

I just thought of advice my lfs guy gave me, when I purchased the otos.

1. More water changes to keep down the nitrates. (don't feed the algae!)
2. Less light.

I was going to cut back on the light in my tank, but now the otos have cleaned it so well, I'll just leave it on the same amount of time.
