But my new (12 days now) 29 gallon tank with all the goodies from my old 6g tank still cruises.

Never had an ammo or nitrite above zero.

My Ph is 7.8. Always has been (even with old tank). Anything to worry about?

Got platies in there now and a few tetras. Will soon have clowns, gouramis and more tetras.

I'd worry about yourself (if your avatar is a pic of you!).

Far from an expert I'd say it sounds good - just don't rush things. I've been waiting over 3 weeks to get me silver dollars in my new 40 gall bow, am transferring me fish ever soo slowly.

yeah, that blue guy just jumped out at me...

well, i put the platies and tetras I already had in there what, 10 days ago. gonna add the others in a few days.

things seem quite fine. even the plants are noticably happier.

Ah, plants, I got an '85 plant collection' from java, I have lost a couple but the rest seem to be thriving. One plant must have grown 6" in 3 weeks The silver dollars are eyeing it up
