Ph For Zebra Nerite Snails

what's the recommended pH to maintain healthy shells for zebra nerite snails? my tap pH is 7 and KH and GH are 2-3. how big a piece of limestone or similar pH raising rock would I have to add to a 10 gallon tank to raise it to the recommended pH?

your PH should be fine, dont add any ph supplements there no good for your fish and can cause PH fluctuations.

anything under7 and they will probably disolve

my ph is 7 - 7.2 and snails do well in that
if you want you can add some calcium - maybe a bit of cuttlefish bone or some liquid calcium

do not try to alter your ph - when you do this its hard to get a stable ph - they will be fine in what you have
