Well I have never used one as my ammonia has never been very high. I just think that regualar testing will be sufficient, you could always experiment with it youor self

Yup, and another advantage is that you can always monitor it so you will know when something is wrong right away.

For less then $10 ea, i might give em a try. they look pretty nice too.
