Petsmart Shoppers/workers Help Please!

i got 3 mollies from petsmart less than a week ago. one died today my mom said she will take me there tommorow to return it. i kinda want to return the two others too. my reasons: i dont like the looks of one (he has white flecks all over him, and hes black) second; i guess i dont like big bulky fish, especially in my small tank. i think i will get some more guppies once i return them
 
ok, so heres the question: will petsmart take live fish back just because i dont like them? do you have to have a good reason? also i heard that they might kill them, because they might infect they're tanks. i would rather keep them than that.
 
are there any other reasons that petsmart will not take my fish?

They have a 14 day guarantee.  I returned a live dwarf gourami there.
 
 
Bad news is that the 'white flecks' sounds like ich.  If so, the tank is infected and needs to be treated.

I have no idea on that petsmart killing them thing, that sounds horrid. You should talk to a petsmart worker about that. However, they will take back any fish you bought from them for any reason, as long as its within two weeks. Usually they never even ask why you are returning them. Sounds like a good plan to return them, as mollies can work in a smaller tank but most people would actually recommend them in a 30 gallon tank. Reason being is they like to live in groups, and IME are pretty aggressive fish if they are not in groups. They also get fairly large for a livebearer and will quickly filll your tank with babies if there is a male and female present. Good luck!

as long as you have a receipt you can take them back for any reason

they should qt any returned fish, they won't just kill them

i doubt it is ich. the color looks natural. sorry i cant get a pic my camera is lost ich looks like little specks/dots right? this looks like whole scales.

As has been said they should let you return them for whatever reason, if they even ask.
Sounds like a dalmation molly.

Petsmart does not kill live fish that are returned. I have watched my fish be returned to the store tanks before!

oh, good. then they are just roomers. and it looks like the molly does not have ich. so thats good too. thanks for the help
