They are so F...... Stupid.

They have had all new staff in and none will sell me a betta, because he isn't going into a tank.

And they have another rule, that they wont sell any fish if the tank has not been set up for more than 3 Weeks.

They have Got a Beuatiful Double Tailed Veil Tail. And I know he will be Snapped up by someone who knows What He Is.

ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.....................................................................................

All the other staff know me and will always sell me them, as they know that i take care of them.

I dont like pets at home one bit...the staff at the one by me are rude and dont know anything. You should just say Yes when they say has it been setup 3 weeks...its what i would have done!

Um, lie, nd say he is

So, thats usually how long it takes to cycle tanks. And if yours cycled quickly, just lie and say its been 4 weeks. Or get the fish from another store.

I am going to go in on Monday, when the Regulars should be back in.

Hopefully he will still be there.

It's called a lie.

"Oh, i've got a 5 gallon that's been up for 3 months I totally forgot about! Jesus, I've got so many tanks I honestly forget sometimes. Yea, I had another betta in there, but what happened was he was 3 years old, and died peacefully. Just looking to buy one for the tank now!"

*L* Ya should have just lied, buddy. They can't ask ya for proof anyway. :)

"Yes, hes going into the tank. The tank has been established for x weeks."

Sorry, I tend to use bettas for cycling... gotta put something in there :D

Heh. (unless you go fishless, but I beleive in letting people have their choice in how to cycle.)

i wouldnt buy a fish from pets at home if they paid me.Every fish ive had from there has died within a week of a disease and they say they cant accept that responsibility.

Tell them you know what you are doing and not to insult your intelligence and that you are offended that they might be suggesting you intend to harm the fish :p

Ben

I could have lied, But then they Give the whole - You will have to come in with a Water Sample.

I will just wait for the Regular PPl to Come in Again.

The others Know i keep them in bowls.

They Still Don't Listen - Believe I Tried. They would not Give Me a Gaurantee, So i could not buy It.

I went in there to buy just a crappy 3G tank and the guy was like "are you going to put fish in right away", so I told him not to assume I was stupid just because I was shopping in Pets At home.... that quickly shut him up! lol!

Ben

I would rather the pet store asked everyone questions than just didn't give a d*mn. They can't tell just by looking at someone how much they know, and it's not like no beginner has ever overstocked an uncycled tank.
