Petrified Wood

I came across some very interesting looking chunks of petrified wood. Does anyone have experience with this stuff?

It looks and feels like a rock, but it's wood.

I have petrified wood in several of my tanks, some has been there for 3+ years and I've had no problems.

petrified wood is basically wood that turned into rock if u dont want to know all the technical stuff.
minerals seaped into the wood and hardened

you have to be careful with petrified wood, it all depends on the minerals that made it petrified.
