Petri meets Yura

I got a new friend yesterday... a Pacific Parrotlet named Petri (who is a complete doll, btw). Today I was taking him around to meet the other pets, and Yura didn't like him at all . Yura has never seen anything with feathers before, bless his heart.

"OMG what is that???" Yura says as he backs into a corner. "I've never seen a fish like that before!"

"You get away from my tank, you weird looking fish!!"

...Marie, on the other hand, wanted to know if he was edible

He's the size of a parakeet... I might introduce him to the rest of the bettas and take more pics tomorrow, but he's asleep right now. He's a little cuddlebug

Where do you find the time for new pets with all those fishy babies!
I'm exhausted just thinking about it...
Not that i could resist such a CUTIE like that I want one too but there's no way i could look after another animal. With a dog, a cat, 3 ferrets and 17 tanks varying from 1/2G -96G i just couldn't do it so cute though!!!

! I thought my parrot was the only one who liked fish!!! I have a Senegal called Pippin who is just FASCINATED by fish. She sits for hours watching the fish, following them around the edge of the tanks and such. On the Goldfish tank, she likes to sit on the top (no lid) and hop around the edge. Once she tried to jump in but though better of it when she found that the water was wet lol.

what a cutie. My old budgie lemonpie used to love eating fishfood especially dried shrimp!! and if ever the tank lid was off would dive bomb it for a bath!!
