im upgrading from a 10 gallon to a 55 gallon and i wanted to get a few new fish and put them all in at the same time so no fish get too "territorial" i suppose?

one fish on the list is a pleco, i was also contemplating on maybe getting a black ghost knife fish but im not too sure about that i know they pretty large and maybe a little difficult to take care of.

but i really am thinking about getting a crayfish and was wondering how it would do in the tank and if its a good or bad idea

any comments and advice on this would be very much appreciated :good:

Crayfish need to be alone, lest they get a Desire for fish and chips...

Really? I've seen videos of people have crayfish in tanks with other fish, given that I think they wre all betas and that's all they had in the tank with it was the one betta

All I know is I had one develop the taste for fish and chips and voila, no more fish. I know others have had the same problem

Claws+fins=tasty for crawfish!!!!
Not a good idea! Fins and claws don't go good together.

alright nevermind then guess im not putting a crayfish in my tank

thanks for the input! :good:

And don't always trust the videos :) I saw someone with some bettas and a piranha in a tank together, god knows what happened when recording was done

lol im sure it was nothing less than a massacre
