I'm trying to find a pleco for my tank. Firstly it has to be small enough for a rio 180. Secondly it has to look good and finally it has to be not too expensive. It may be a tall order but I am hoping that you can help me.

a bristlenose plec fills all three IMO, but not everyone likes the look of them lol

for the cheaper 1's the golden nuggets would be my 1st choice or secondly blue/green phantoms maybe a royal

<-------- but thats the ultimate :)

a zebra plec.. grow to about 4" and needs a recomended minimum tank size of 20g so should fit fine.
can be house with all comunity fish

they are good looking to
:good:

not sure about price tho but i think a lot of fish shops have them

zebra plecs are not recomended for community tanks as they dont compete for food very well
they are best kept on their own

L046 are NOT recommended with community fish because they dont do well in competing for food :)
