Has anyone ever had a problem with peppermint shrimp eating/killing feather dusters?

A few months ago, I caught one of my peppermint shrimp with my hawaiian feather duster. Is it most likely that the duster was dead/dieing, or will peppermints go after feather dusters?

i have 3 peppermint shrimp and 4 dusters, never had a problem with the shrimps trying 2 munch em!

i suppose they might if the shrimp was really starving!

more than likely the duster had already died, and they were just being oppertunistic. :good:

First of all, are you sure they are peppermint shrimps? many shops sell camel shrimps under the name of peppermints and these are notorious coral killers.

If they are definatly peppermints then it has been known but in all my experiences this is very rare.

Oh, quite positive. They have camels as well, in the same tank as the peps.
