As some of you may have seen I recently lost my snowball pleco :( my husband and I have seen for some weeks at maidenhead aquatics (St Albans) some peppermint Plecos, it says they are L30's however and that does not seem right please correct me if I am wrong.

Would one of those be suitable in my tank?

Thanks for your replys

I was thinking that too when I had a good look on the Planet Catfish site a week or so back, unfortunatly they dont have any info other than size...if I am too google I just want to check that there is only one Peppermint Pleco, not a little size one and one called that that grows to 75ft long :crazy: you know what I mean :D

LO31
so one of these and one of these
LO31
are the same thing????

Very confused as they have different latin names.

LO31 Loricariidae :: Parancistrus nudiventris.
LO30 Loricariidae :: Oligancistrus sp. (L030).

Flippin Plecos and the names are confusing :lol:

That's correct ;)

If you read the notes for the L031, it states that the L030 is the juvenile.....

Gets very confusing trust me !!! :D
