I have three peppered corys who at feeding time come up to the surface to feed on freeze dried tubifex, I have tried to make it so the tubifex sinks but they seem to ignore it when its on the bottom of the tank! Is this noral behaviour for a cory I know they come up for air but these are definately not up for the air they are definately feeding on the tubifex as they follow it about the tank!

I wouldn't say it was 'normal' behaviour... but if they are eating readily from the top and generally look happy enough, don't worry...

My peppered cories will also do that if I feed them Tubifex worms. As long as they are not up at the top constantly, then they should be fine.

Normaly they just stick to the bottom of the tank or over the bogwood! It just seems to be at feeding time!

Maybe I should cut down on how often I feed tubifex to them and use the sinking pellets instead for a while?

I just love the way they stick together! How big do they normally get cos mine seem small but I have only had them for 3 weeks
