I was just wondering what kind of experiences people have had with this brand of canister filters as I am planning on buying one ,if they turn out to be good enough. Any opinions are welcome and appreciated.

I personally don't use one, but a lot of people state they have high media by-pass, so I'd suggest you look at other brands  Eheim, Tetratec and Rena are all good filters. Avoid Eheim's Ecco and Termo ranges, along with Tetratec's EX2400 and Rena's XP4, otherwise, you'll be fine with any of those three brands :good:

All the best

Thank you for the response rabbut, I was wondering about this brand of filters because their smallest model is quite affordable. Just wondered if it would be a good filter to replace my HOB since it got too noisy. I do have an Eheim 2026 running on this tank as well, so some by-pass would not cause any grief. If I get it, I will inspect it and maybe tinker with it.

Thanks again.

I bought it, unfortunately I had to return it because it was utter rubbish. I would not recommend this canister filter to anyone else. Returned it and got myself an aqua clear HOB instead.

Yetti I'm sure by now you have got a filter but for future folks searching for this filter, I run a cascade 700 on my 55 gallon tank and the filter has been performing perfect for me. So if your like me and don't have a lot of money to buy one of those higher end filters the cascade line is a good option. I save even more by making my own media bags and cutting my on filter media to fit.
