Penguin without the Bio-Wheel 330

I bought a 55 gallon tank kit and it came with a Aqua-Tech 30-60 Power Filter. Another guy said that was the same as the Penguin 330 but without the Bio-Wheel. Is this true? Also do you think this will accomodate an oscar or do I need to get a better filter?

Personally, I would go with the Wet-Dry. I think BIO-wheels are the best filtration out there, imo.
