Pegging Questions

Well i got a couple of questions that all involve pegging....

1)Has anyone ever done it and what were the results?
2)How long can i leave a piece of LR out of my tank before its not "live" anymore or cant put in my tank?
3)Is AquaStik Epoxy putty any good?

2) - Until it dries out. Life starts to really die off after say 30 minutes out of water and gets worse until the rock fully dries out and becomes mostly dead. If its out for more than say 20-30 mins, a mini cycle might occur when you put it back in depending on how much rock you remove

so does anyone have experience with pegging? If not then i guess ill keep a mini journal and people can watch how i "try" and do it.

Pegging rock or pegging corals ?

As for the epoxy if you can get milliput then it will set underwater.

aqua stick epoxy putty works under water .just Google it and you can find it . i use it and it works really well. it also comes in different colors gray pink and white. all you do is cut of what you need and knead it between your fingers and then stick it to your coral or rock .you can get it form you lfs to. all you need to do is ask them if they have it or can get it .

Is the aquastik the green stuff? If so, it works good. Just make SURE your hands are clean of putty before sinking the coral back into the water. Little flakes of not quite cured epoxy can float through the water column and your fish might decide to nibble on them

all i have is pink gray and wight. never seen the green befor

the one i have has a red outside and a greenish-grey inside. it dries really fast so i wasint able to do much with it last night =[
