Could a pair of these wonderful fishes(I COULD afford 2 maybe...) do well in a 7 gallon planted cube tank with medaka as tankmates?

And an additional question; Could 2~3 pairs of this fish live in a 30 long(36x12x18, lengthXwidthXheight) with a school of dwarf neon rainbowfish and some bristlenose catfish?
