Pearl Scale Problem?

My fiancee went home yesterday to find our pearl scale fish trapped behind beside one of myfilters which had moved enough for it to get beside, she moved filter to release. It now swims for a bit then just floats she didnt see weather it ate this morning but i saw it eat last night, does anyone think being stuck could affect it and maybe it will die? I HOPE NOT, HE OUR FAVOURITE

Pearl scales are not the strongest swimmers and so it is likely he just got too close to the filter and then got sucked in, If the filter was pressing hard against the fish then it is possilby it has done some damage, when you say it floats do you mean it has trouble swimming down,i.e. is always at the surface? or it simply stops swimming every now and then. I guess the only really thing you can do is wait and see, if its a simple injury then it may solve itself in time

He died!!! went home last night and found him dead!!
