Hi, We were considering adding some Peacock Goby to our community 4ft tank when it's up and running.
Does any one know if they are easy to obtain in the Midlands area and would you recommend them.
Cheers Phil.

Tateurndina ocellicauda is not difficult to get and regularly offered by all the big stores. It isn't difficult to maintain, provided you have fairly soft water with a slightly acidic to neutral pH. Like all gobies, it's a fussy feeder and needs live and wet-frozen foods; it won't compete with other bottom dwellers. If kept in a community, keep with small, schooling soft water fish that feed in the middle and upper levels only.

I'd highly recommend them to reasonably experienced fishkeepers. Their colours and amazing, and they spawn quite readily (though rearing the fry is hard).

Cheers, Neale
