Hi all,

I have just acquired a 8UK gallon tank and would like to keep Peacock gobies.

I have done a search on here and pulled up a previous post of mine wherein Dwarfs told me I could keep 4 Peacock Gobies, a couple of Dario Dario and a small school of cories in a 12US gallon tank.....

here..

Before I could get this tank set up I sold it on (at a decent profit I might add :hey: ).

Obviously this tank is a tad smaller so what I wanna know is...can I still keep a quartet of gobies (say a 1 male/3 female ratio), plus a school of pygmy cories in this smaller tank or is it too small?

Or, instead of the cories, could I go with 2/3 Honey Gourami?

If 4 gobies is too many would I be okay with a trio...1m/2f?

What do you think?

Sorry for so many questions.

cheers

you could keeepfour peacock gobies but i'm not sure you should keep a cories with them just because that is a lot of fish near the bottum. I would say go for the gourami but i do not know what size tank they need and i think 8UK miht be to small. You could get some hatchetsor a betta instead of the gouramis.
:D

Thanks for replying MasterP.

Yeah, i thought about the bottom being too cramped.

Honey Gourami only grow to a couple of inches at most so I think I would be better with these.

I take it from the lack of other comments that I am indeed okay to go with four peacocks as well.

cheers
