Depending on size there is normally a slight difference although not much. Around £4 is roughly the norm for a 4" peacock spiney.

that's what it is in the states ($8 US). it depends on the lfs, some carry them pretty often, some it's a matter of what they "feel" like ordering that week.

what you meen about cooler ones? ones that look better? if so which ones are the best?

you can get a typre of spiney eel that has stripes going down it'as boddy with spots on the end of their tail. Thee ones look really nice, is that hwta you meant? Also they look quite a bit nicer than the standard peacock spiney! At my LFS they are all pretty much the same price for most spineys.

Have a look at This thread, where neale explains some of the differant types. The striped peacocks get considerably lardger than the normal ones, for example Macrognathus aral get to 60cm, whereas the 'normal' more common peacocks (e.g Macrognathus siamensis) get much smaller, at only 30cm.
If i were you, id make sure you know which one your getting, so you know the size it gets!
