This is probably a stupid question.
I've got a peacock eel that i've had a few months and planned on getting two more to go with him/her.I was looking at some today and noticed some eels have lots of peacock spots while others have less.Mine has a peacock spot at the tail base but some eels don't.
Is this a sex thing denoting m/f,or something else? I'm really curious about this as i tend to pick the "lots of spots" ones but don't want to end up will all males/females.
