Fish Addict
Vince is doing great!!! I came home last night, opened my care package from BettaMomma and got his tank up and ready to go. When I took the lid off the bowl he was in, I looked down and saw him staring up at me through a nice little bubblenest. I almost hated to take him out of the bowl. 
Then, when I put him in the tank I was able to see him better than in the bowl. (It's been through a lot and is pretty scratched.) He only has two little gray patches left and no fuzz at all, and I could really see his color for the first time. His head looks like Charlie's, the body is pale red with a white wash over it. The fins start out blue and go to white with several red splashes down them.
Never dreamed I would be getting a red, white and blue fish Memorial Day weekend. Too cool!!!
I put his new tank next to my 20 gal to take advantage of the outlets in the power strip and Vince spent most of the evening staring into the big tank. Booker came over to check him out occasionally but there has not been any flaring as of yet. I did put a piece of cardboard between the 20 gal and Vince's tank before I left for work this morning. Don't want to stress Vince out especially since he is still recuperating.
I am really excited about him. He was so sick just last week that I didn't think he would pull through and now he's nosy, eating like a pig, and bubblenesting!
BTW, I explained to my hubby that the box came from BettaMomma who was like a PC pen pal. He replied "Oh, I get it, she's your FIN pal, right?" He's so cute.
