hey i got 2 parrots in my tank now and they spend alot of time together in a cave i made out of slate or if they come out theyre always next to each other. My question is what do they look like if one is pregnant and how long are they pregnant until the lay fry. Also how many fry do they normally produce? If you know anything then say your 2 cents.

yeah they cant be bread. although no joke. my co-worker has breading parrots, dont ask me how they just do. You have to get extremely lucky.

Oh they can breed alright, but the eggs probably won't hatch. The males are the ones that are usually infertile, but more and more I've heard of people that own fertile males, so you never know... someone returned a female blood parrot to my LFS because it was one half of a pair that was "breeding like crazy"

parrots can breed, but its extremly unlikely that you will get a male that is fertile. My female parrot, would always lay eggs but no fry cause the male was infertile. But if you have a fertile male AWSOME!! I hope you do.

yea your chances of getting a fertile male are close to impossible, unless your a breeder.

Can anyone here tell me the actions of Parrots that think they are spawning.
Mine have cleared all the gravel out the area under the fake roots they use as a cave and one seems fatter then the other.

Yea the blood parrots clear out gravel all the time, even when they are not breeding, but when they do breed they do clear out gravel for a nest. The female will probably lay the eggs and they will sit there for a week or so until they turn white. then the blood parrots will eat them. But you maybe be EXTREMLEY lucky and get a fertile male and hey you could have babies, but dont get your hopes up.

Parrots don't breed. They are hyrbrids, which means they are infertile.

I HATE this statement -_- ;)

They do "BREED" all of the time. ALL of the time!!!

As far as there resulting in wrigglers..........eh.......not really likely!!
