My blood parrot always ate pellets and then one day he suddenly stopped. He hasn't ate in a week. Today, he ate two after waiting for five minutes as if he was being forced to eat them. He still wats the peas and frozen brine shrimp i feed them. Does he need a new diet or should I just start feeding him sinking pellets?

im sure the frozen foods taste better to him... hes probably just trying to get you to continue to feed them to him... if hes starting to eat the pellets again i would see if he will still eat them.. i dont think an all frozen foods diet, or an all sinking wafers diet is a great thing to do

Your fish will benefit from a varied diet, including flake, pellets, freeze dried, and live foods. As many possible foods as you can afford.

If there isnt much of it left, or if its considerably old, i would chuck it out. Try some fresh stuff from a diferent brand.
