my girlfriends parrots have had fry twice now. on each occasion they have been eaten, however tis time they have been move to a separate tank, and have again spawned, what should we do to keep the fry alive and to grow them on, will there be scope for moving them on as the grow?

if you want the fry to survive, do lots of water changes, and feed them 3-4 times a day... clean water and lots of food will make them grow fast and keep them healthy.. you can feed them baby brine shrimp to start, move to grindal worms when theyre larger, and crushed flakes when they are larger

parrot fish fry a kinda tuff to raise, most people who do spanw them have a tank set up especially for it. yours sounds like it just happend in the main tank. if u wish to raise the fry, i would recommend letting this batch go and spawning the fish in a set-up made for the job, they wont do to good in their parents tank.

Breeding Parrots is a one in a million, did the eggs hatch?
