Parrot Fish ? & Stocking Ideas

Hey,

Yesterday i brought myself a fire eel and a senegal bichir to go in my tank and a freind i know is trying to rehome a parrot fish and wondered if it would be fine in the tank with these fish and maybe an oscar if i can find one soon ?


just thinking at the moment really what else could i have of a decent size to go with them ?

dont get the parrot fish they are a man man ugly tropical fancy gold fish

mods please note this is not in the hybrid forum so im allowed to say what i want about about the deformed parrot fish that cant even swim properly or even close their mouths

i hate parrot fish with a passion their are so many nice fish out their to pick from people should stay away from this kind of man made crap

i agree parrots are rubbish
as a alternative how about a oscar or severums or uaru

Yeah I aggree, severums are a great alternative and are the natural alternative.
Geos are great looking fish too

well the guy doesn't have it now which has saved me some trouble.

i'll look into the severums i definately want an oscar tho just gotta find a place that sells them round here

I think most shops sell oscars...Maybe try getting one ordered in if they dont have them, they should definately be on the wholesalers lists.

The goldfish bowl has one (the shop is featured in PFK this month) but it was £50 and it was quite big.

i don't want something really big cos i like to watch my fish grow and with my Bichir, Fire Eel, And Pictus being small i don't wanna cause no trouble if ya knw what i mean

Also whould 2 angel fish be okay do you think ?
