Parrot Fish Sexing

hi my name is graham and would like some help i have 4 parrot 2 large orange and two small yellow one and was wondering is there anyay of sexing them they some times fight with the clown loach for the tube they all like sitting in so they all get on pritty well but how do u sex them will post pictures later of them

I never knew the sex of my parrots until I added 2 to my first one's tank, and my first parrot paired up with one of the new ones. They took over a cave and started their little mating rituals. The female has quite a thick, straw-like tube (ovipositor?!) and the male has a thinner, more spindly looking tube.

That's all I know anyway lol i'm no way an expert!

I'd suggest you provide more caves for your tank though - they all need their own caves to have as territory, not fair for them to all be fighting over one!
