Thanks Navarre....Whitey..Parker gets much more credit than I do...she is working with 14 gallons less water than I am. Trust Navarre....the smaller the tank, the greater attention it will need. It's not impossible,but, both are right...if you plan to embark on a 10g or less, READ LIKE CRAZY first. Even tho' 10 gallons isn't a lot as far as volume goes, your margin of error is MUCH SMALLER. The keys to success are:
1) Perfect water , like Parker says, RO
2) Attention to maintenance and water changes
3) Don't overstock and overfeed
4) Don't skimp on getting good live rock, among many others
