Hi all, can anyone tell me if this is a worm and what to do about it?
I saw it yesterday but thought it was part of his fin but its changed appearance
Seems one problem after another with guppies

If it was white stringy poop, you should suspect worms - that's one of the symptoms of intestinal worms, though bacterial and protozoan intestinal infections can also cause white string poop.

I've had one die and another which had a white growth on it which I'm told was a bacterial infection, I've used aquarium salt which really helped, white thing fell off and that guppy is eating and swimming again. I'm going to use the blue medication in a day or so as advised by reputable independent fish guy and about to do water change and gravel clean before meds. So there is an issue.
Just recieved my master test kit today so will use it and let you know parameters asap

Most of us have made the poop/worm mistake at some point. Get some tests done (especially GH, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate) and we'll go from there.

Don't add medications unless you know what the problem is.

Keep salt in the tank for a couple of weeks and see how the fish looks after that. Use 2 heaped tablespoons of rock salt (aquarium salt) for every 20 litres (5 gallons) of tank water.

Hoping I wont have to add anything, the salt is magic!

Thats fine lol. The guppy dosnt look to healthy though.

What are your water parameters?
Here's my test results, think ph may be high, did high range ph also and the guppy with the bacteria growth died last night 😔

That pH is fine for guppies. They are from hard alkaline water.

Sorry to hear that, I had a fish lost last night too, it happens, are other fish ok?
