hi all

I have recently (like this morning!) noticed what i can only describe as "very tiny white slugs" sliding around on the inside glass of my tank...i must have counted 30-40! i have`nt a clue what they are!
Anybody got any ideas? are they friend or foe?

Are they white/opaque and move much like a catterpiller?
if so they are planitia and are harmless. Planitia are normaly cause by an excess of waste matter, food etc.
Your fish will eat them soon enough, if they are planitia that is.

Yes i do have a lot of snails in my tank...grrrrr!!! I cant keep up with squashing them things...

They are white and some of them are free swimming... And i do hope they are planitia, all the fish seem to be fine and going about there business!
