I'm new to owning tropical fish. I have 6 Koi Angelfish and 1 pleco. I dunno if I'm paranoid but there are tiny white spots on the fins of my angelfish. It is just one spot per fin on a few of the angelfish. No white spots on their bodies. They don't seem to be rubbing themselves against the tank or anything. Am I paranoid or did I catch some ich? :/

Ich is pretty common in a new aquarium. The fish are often stressed and immune suppressed if the water conditions are not ideal. When I had ich my fish were not rubbing or flicking either. The white spots look like small, raised grains of salt. Is it possible to post a picture? There are some pictures of Ich in this thread:

It kinda doesn't look like that on my fish. It spots on the fins of my fish aren't that defined. How long does the ich stay on the fish because the same dot has been there for 2 days.

How big are the spots, like a grain of salt or bigger.

The spots are quite small. grain of salt size but they don't look like they're stuck on the outside of the fish. It almost looks like a blemish on the fin itself. Maybe I am paranoid. :/

Hows the fish acting, other signs to go on are, flicking and rubbing against objects, shaking or twitching in position, heavy breathing, generally the fish looking uncomfortable like something is irratating it.
