Is it possible? Paradise are fair aggressive themselves, but not sure if the malawi would kill them.

Paradise fish are aggressive to each other for the most part. Sometimes towards other fish also though.

They like colder water than most Africans although I've heard that they can do fine with mid-upper 70's temp for short periods.

They aren't as quick as Africans are and that could be it's downfall.

The paradise fishes long fins may become a target for the cichlids, plus if this the tank with your mystus cats in too then they might have a little nibble on the fins at night.

Hi guys,

I thought i might get away with it, but as u say, they are a bit slow to swim and have fairly long wavey fins.

The 2 mystus (at the moment) stay low around the rocks. Cant wait till the get a bit bigger and swim about for often.

I'll give them a miss.

Cheers
