My panda cories spawn the most/act happiest at low 70's.

That temperature is to warm for C. Panda. As stated, they like temperatures around 71-75 F

The only corys that should be kept in discus heated water are C. sterbai and C. adolfoi, C. gossei or C. seussi, although I must admit I have C. Aggazzsis and corys in my tank - only been a couple of weeks, but they look ok so far.
The temp of the water can affect the sex of the fish and will also age them quicker and shorten their lives
