I have a Panda Cory that has lethargy, red coloration around gills, and rapid gill movement. I'm not really sure what's causing this. Does anyone have any suggestions?

water stats please ie ammonia nitrite ntrate ph hw long has tank been runnng?

0 ammonia, 0 nitrite, ~20 Nitrate (did a 50% water change a few days ago), Tank been running for about 7 months now. Oh and pH is about 6.8. I have 3 other Panda Corys that have no symptoms, and none of my other fish seem to be sick. I did have a Harlequin Rasbora die on me a couple weeks ago though.

I have a couple Amazon Broad leaf plants. Its not a very big tank... its a 15 gallon tank.

Still having this problem... I don't want to just throw all the medicine I can find at him... Does anyone know what it could be?

Hi Mephistopheles :)

There's not a lot you can do for a sick panda. They're not the strongest cory and once they start going downhill, it's hard to bring them back to health.

Just make sure your water is fresh and the bottom clean with frequent water changes. There should be good oxygenation if you have water movement at the surface. If your water is warmer than 75 degrees F., or so, and your other fish can take cooler temperatures, turn the thermostat down.
