Panda Cory Prices

is it just me,but are the price of panda corys getting ridiculous my lfs wants £6.25 each!!!

they are getting dearer but not as much as 6.25 my lfs has them for 4pound and i thought that was bad compared they used to be cheaper

a few days ago i was talking to the owner of an lfs about taking some cories in for credit, and he mentioned that panda cories had gone up in price to the point where his 'standard' markup that he applies to most of his fish meant that pandas were having to be sold at about 6 quid. buying them in has gotten far more expensive. i couldnt believe it, i said to him i remember they were my first fish and they cost me about 2 quid each a couple of years ago, he agreed but had no idea why wholesalers were charging more now.

i think there a nice wee cory but quite fragile compared to the others but i dont think i will pay 6pound for them looks like im going to get a few in before the price goes up even more
