I know Cories are bottom feeders... but then why do my 3 Panda Cories always go up the sides of the tank? All they do it go back and fourth across the whole side of the 29 gallon tank, against the glass. They all do it at the same time, almost all day, and only stop when they go to eat. It's kind of strange, considering they go up to the top more than they are on the bottom. I'm just glad nothing attacks them :D ... But still, why are they doing this?

Hi n3ont3tra :)

It's perfectly natural behavior for corys.

Corys love to play together and are often quite active. They are also able to gulp a mouthful of air from the surface and absorb some of the oxygen through their intestines, so if you see them doing that once in a while, it's OK too. That's why so many people like them. :D

Ok. I just wanted to know if they were stressed or something, which they aren't. Thanks!
