It did not kill my Neo. Red shrimp, Ramshorn snails or Bladder snails. It did however kill 100% of the Hydra in less than 24 hours. I used 1g. (1 packet) in 100ml of fresh water and put 40ml in a 30g tank. I think the solution would work at 1ml per gallon of tank. I did not change the water prior to dosing. At $9.00 for a 3 packet box it is very cost effective killing Hydra. I poured the remaining 60ml out, no need for a second dose. If you do, you can do it 3 days in a row.

Flubendazole is a broad-spectrum anthelmintic, it is used, particularly in veterinary medicine, for the treatment of nematodal infections.

Fenbendazole is a broad spectrum benzimidazole anthelmintic used against gastrointestinal parasites including: giardia, roundworms, hookworms, whipworms and tapeworms.

Fenbendozole and flubendazole are similar medications but not the same. Work for similar bj b8u h things. Fenbendozole isn't very water soluble, where flubendazole is, so if using to deworm fish, knowing which med you are using is useful to know how to administer it (via water or via food).

Fenbendozole has been known to be a reliable way to kill hydra AND planaria when dosed to the tank. Can kill some snails, but usually not a problem.

Panacur is sold in the US in Petco/Smart etc., as a dog wormer. I prefer flubendazole for treating suspected internal fish worm infections as it works in the water column. Fenbendazole has to be eaten to work in fish, but not in tank "critters" as Cass said.

Wow I just realized some gibberish typos in my post. Oops, apologies I think I got distracted midpost, carried my phone with me and hit buttons 😂 my ADHD phone use is showing.

Should note, hydra can also be killed from products such as "No Planaria" or "Planaria Zero" for those of us who can't buy medications like panacur. It works for planaria and hydra, but careful using it with nerite snails as it will kill those.

I was going to ask...but I'm used to some bad typing (by me included) & didn't want to call you out, lol. I got the drift...

The Fenbendazole in Panacur C is PH stabilized with sodium hydroxide to make it water soluble. And from original post, it's seems to work pretty well...

We used dog dewormer product in the past with guppies and that worked out very well. I never subjected Nerites to any of these products, but bladder snail don't care.
