I have a 25 gallon aquascaped tank with (currently) 1 honey gourami, 16 ember tetras, 6 otocinclus and a load of red cherry shrimp. Over the past 2 days I’ve noticed my female honey gourami has been hiding in the tank. Currently, it looks like her health is deteriorating as she has lost a lot of her colour and her stomach area seems to be slightly bloated. However, I’ve just added some food to the tank and saw her eating, however she wasn’t exhibiting her normal behaviour. I’m not sure what to do as I can’t really get a picture which would help with the diagnosis. My water quality is perfect, and hence I’m not sure what could be the cause. If anyone could help me out asap, I’d really appreciate it! Thanks.
