Pakistani Loaches

Hi. I bought two pakistani loaches and was wondering what they eat. I have ben feeding them bloodworms and sinking wafers. Also, how big do they get?

i have 2 pakistani loaches ours love any sort of fresh frozen food (sort you get in blister packs) like bloodworm,mosquito larvae,brine shrimp etc, they also love dried tubifex cubes and catfish & algae wafers, i have also seen them go mad for defrosted frozen garden mushed up peas & romaine lettuce (both i pour boiling water over leave for a while,cool & then put in the tank - the lettuce on a suction clip attatched to the tank wall)
most of the stuff you'll read will tell you they only get to about 3 & a half inches in size but as i found out a while ago on this forum they can get up to 8-9 inches in size, something to be aware of, but there also has been a debate for a while on whether the fish sold as 'pakistani or yoyo' loaches are actually 2 different types one which gets much bigger than the other.
our biggest pakistani loach is around 4 inches long & about 3/4 inches at its broadest body wise. we've had it for about 3 years. they seem to grow very quickly at first then then slow down quite dramatically all though maybe its cos i just dont notice them growing so much any more.
